A / FIT & SIZING
How does FIZO determine my size?
FIZO does not use standard shoe sizes. Instead, we build your footwear around a 4D foot scan captured through your phone's camera. Using our partner Volumental's technology, we measure the length, width, arch profile, and pressure points of each foot independently - because your left foot is rarely the same as your right. Your size is then generated from your actual foot data, not from a conversion chart.
What if I don't know my foot measurements?
You don't need to. The scan takes about two minutes: you stand on a sheet of paper, take a few photos from your phone, and our system extracts the data automatically. If there's a mismatch between your usual shoe size and your scan results, our team will reach out to confirm before production begins.
Can I choose a different width?
Yes. Every FIZO order includes a width selection based on your scan profile. If you know you prefer a wider or narrower fit - for example, if you have a wide forefoot or a high instep - you can note this during checkout. Your midsole lattice will be calibrated accordingly.
Does my body weight affect the fit?
It affects the performance, not the physical dimensions. Your weight determines how we tune the lattice density inside the midsole: lighter frames get more energy return, heavier frames get greater stability and impact absorption. The fit itself is driven by your foot scan.
How do I know which size to choose for YAWND or R1?
YAWND and R1 follow the same scan-based system as Glider 001. You complete the foot scan once, and your profile is saved to your account. When you order a different model, the system applies your existing fit data automatically. If you've never scanned before, you'll be prompted to do so before checkout.
B / SHIPMENTS & DELIVERY
How long does production take?
Because every pair is 3D-printed to order, production typically takes 10-15 business days after your scan is confirmed. This is not a stocked product - your midsole is manufactured specifically for you, which is why we don't hold inventory.
How long does shipping take?
After dispatch, transit usually takes around 10 calendar days depending on your destination and local delivery conditions. We ship worldwide. Tracking information is emailed to you as soon as your order leaves our production facility.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
If your order has not yet entered production, we can usually update the address. Please contact us at support@letsfizo.com as soon as possible. Once production has started, changes may not be possible.
Do you offer free shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order value. From time to time we run free shipping promotions - subscribe to our email list to be notified.
What if my package is delayed or returned?
If a package is returned to us due to an address issue or delivery failure, we will contact you to confirm the correct details and reship at no additional cost for the first occurrence.
C / RETURN & EXCHANGE
What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, shoes must be unworn, in original condition, and returned in the original packaging. Returns must be initiated through the "Return or Exchange" form on our website.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Yes - within the 14-day window, we offer one free size exchange per order. If the fit isn't right, contact us and we'll arrange a replacement. The original pair must be unworn and in resalable condition.
What if the shoes don't fit because of my scan?
If the fit issue stems from an error in the scan data or a manufacturing defect, we will remake your pair at no cost. We stand behind the accuracy of our process. Please contact us with photos and details.
Are custom products returnable?
Because every pair is made specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for reasons of personal preference (color, style, change of mind) after the 14-day window. This policy exists because custom products cannot be resold. Manufacturing defects and fit issues caused by our process are always covered.
What counts as a manufacturing defect?
Examples include: uneven lattice density that causes discomfort, a midsole that separates from the upper, or a size that does not match the scan data we confirmed with you. Normal wear, cosmetic variations in 3D-printed texture, and damage from outdoor use are not considered defects.
D / GENERAL & CONTACT
What is FIZO?
FIZO is a 3D-printed footwear platform. We combine in-house engineering (FIZO Lab) with independent designer collaborations. Our first product, Glider 001, is a weight-customized running shoe. We also partner with designers like YAWN.D and offer models such as R1, a scan-customized slip-on.
What materials do you use?
Our midsoles are primarily printed with Carbon EPU 46, a high-performance elastomer with over 40% bio-based content, engineered for energy return and durability. We also use EPU 70E, a new foam material that is lighter and softer, delivering an even more comfortable consumer experience. The choice of material depends on the model and specific component. For designer collaborations such as YAWND, the uppers use high-quality TPU; other models may use engineered textiles depending on the design.
Are FIZO shoes recyclable?
We are working toward a take-back and recycling program. For now, please contact us if you have an end-of-life pair and we will advise on the best available option.
Can I become a FIZO designer?
Yes. We are actively opening our platform to independent designers, engineers, and artists. If you have a footwear concept you'd like to bring to life with 3D printing, reach out to us at design@letsfizo.com with a brief introduction and portfolio.
How do I contact support?
Email support@letsfizo.com for order inquiries, fit questions, or returns. For designer collaboration and platform partnerships, contact design@letsfizo.com. We aim to respond within 1-2 business days.
